By Car

Blue Mountain is easily accessible by car from major Ontario cities. The scenic drive takes you through beautiful countryside.

From Toronto

150 km / 1.5-2 hours via Highway 400 North to Highway 26 West

From Ottawa

450 km / 4.5-5 hours via Highway 417 to Highway 400

From London

260 km / 3 hours via Highway 401 to Highway 400

By Air

The nearest major airport is Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), approximately 150 km from Blue Mountain.

From Pearson (YYZ)

1.5-2 hours by car. Rental cars available at the airport.

From Billy Bishop (YTZ)

Toronto Island airport. About 2 hours to Blue Mountain.

Tip: A rental car is highly recommended for exploring the area.

Blue Mountain receives significant snowfall thanks to "lake effect" snow from Georgian Bay. The ski season typically runs from December through April.

Summer (June - September)

Warm summers with comfortable temperatures. Georgian Bay moderates the climate, making it pleasant for outdoor activities.
